  Been frequenting Russells for 29 years so I guess my wife Ruth and I can qualify and give a honest and sincere opinion on how the food and experience is. We have never had a bad experience here. The prime rib is awesome and as big as any other. Have traveled all over the country and the liver and onions and mushrooms is the best I have had. The single pork chop with apple sauce is another rave. Ruth loves the Pastica Russtica xtra garlic and sauce, Russ and his wife and son do the very best to make your experience a great one so if you ever have a road bump call on them to make it right. We have never ever had a bad experience with a waitress!
  
  I've got to share this experience we had one night a year or so ago and perhaps it might explain a neg review here.
  We were seated next to a couple at an adjoining table (we could overhear) which the lady obviously was displeased with her steak. They complained. Russ's son stepped up and offered to give her a 50% discount on the bill. She continued to complain. She wanted a full refund. Russ's son said he would have done that but the lady had consumed the entire steak and then wanted a 100% refund. My wife Ruth and I were trying to contain our laughter. I've seen a lot in my life but that one topped the cake. Russells will take care of you and you will want to go back. Make a resv to ensure you get a table!

  I love Russell's on the Lake. Lunch or Dinner.
  The antique furniture and colors makes for a warm and quiet atmosphere. Perfect for business meetings or aniversary celebrations. The patio looks out onto the lake. Very peaceful. The servers are knowledgable regarding the menu and cocktails. Look forward to dinning there again.
